New York Airport Transfers: JFK, LaGuardia, and Newark, Priced Honestly

New York has three airports and three different pricing stories. JFK runs on a flat taxi fare. LaGuardia taxis are metered. Newark adds a surcharge. A booked JetBlack car runs on a written price agreed before pickup. Here is each airport, straight.
JFK Airport
Yellow taxis from JFK to Manhattan charge a $70 flat fare, which lands at $76.75 once the $0.50 MTA surcharge, $1.00 improvement surcharge, $2.00 JFK airport access fee, $2.50 state congestion surcharge, and $0.75 congestion-pricing toll are added — or $81.75 in weekday rush hours, 4 to 8 p.m. The AirTrain JFK costs $8.75, and the AirTrain plus subway chain is $11.75. JetBlack’s published economy route fare on the JFK to Manhattan corridor is $65 before tolls, tip, and governmental fees.
LaGuardia Airport
LaGuardia taxis are metered, not flat-rate: typically $35 to $52 to Manhattan, plus tolls and surcharges. The Q70 bus is free and connects to the subway at $3.00. LaGuardia has no AirTrain. JetBlack runs LaGuardia transfers on a per-trip written quote.
Newark Airport
Newark taxis are metered plus a $20 Newark surcharge plus tolls — there is no flat rate to Newark. JetBlack runs Newark transfers on a per-trip written quote only; the JFK $65 figure is never borrowed for Newark.
JetBlack Rates and Booking Facts
Published JetBlack hourly rates run from an economy sedan at $45 per hour with a three-hour minimum, through a standard Sprinter at $130 per hour, to a stretch at $144 per hour with a four-hour minimum. Buses and the super-luxury Sprinter are priced by written quote. Cancellation is $31 in total: a $25 fee plus $5 in fees plus a $1 technology fee. Child seats are provided at about $35 per seat, confirmed at booking — never free. Flat rates exclude tolls, tip, and governmental fees, and a 20% tip is suggested but not included.
JetBlack books by vehicle class, never by promised make or model, and runs 24/7 dispatch with no surge pricing. Flight tracking is included. Meet and greet is an extra; the default pickup is express curbside. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available, with specifications and pricing confirmed at booking only. JetBlack has been in business since 2010.
