This Platform, Privacy & Intellectual Property Policy (the “Policy”) governs the use of JetBlack’s websites, web forms, mobile applications, and related digital services (collectively, the “Platform”). It forms part of, and must be read together with, the General Terms, Bookings, Pricing & Payments Policy, and other JetBlack policies.
By accessing or using the Platform, creating a user account, or submitting any information through the Platform, you agree to be bound by this Policy.
1. User Accounts, Access & Security
1.1 Account Creation and Eligibility
To access certain features of the Platform (such as managing reservations, storing payment methods, or viewing ride history), you may be required to create a user account (“Account”).
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary.
- You may create only one Account in your own name; JetBlack reserves the right to deactivate any duplicate or fraudulent Accounts.
1.2 Account Credentials and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials (username, password, PIN, or any other security mechanism).
- You must not share your Account or credentials with any third party or allow any other person to use your Account.
- You must promptly notify JetBlack of any suspected unauthorized use of your Account or any breach of security.
- JetBlack disclaims liability for losses arising from unauthorized use of your Account where you have failed to keep your credentials secure, to the extent permitted by law.
1.3 Permitted Use and Misuse of the Platform
You agree to use the Platform solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Policy and the General Terms. You must not, and must not permit others to:
- Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable laws, regulations, or third‑party rights.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or otherwise harm other users, drivers, or JetBlack personnel, or discriminate against any person on a protected basis (such as race, religion, gender, disability, or sexual orientation).
- Post, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, profane, harassing, or otherwise illegal or offensive.
- Transmit any viruses, malware, or other code intended to interrupt, damage, or limit the functionality of the Platform or any related systems.
- Use robots, spiders, scrapers, data‑mining tools, or other automated means to access the Platform for any purpose without JetBlack’s express written permission.
- “Frame” or “mirror” any part of the Platform, or use meta tags or hidden text including “JetBlack” or associated marks, without prior written consent.
- Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Platform or its software, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.
1.4 Suspension and Termination of Access
JetBlack may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice to the extent permitted by law:
- Suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Platform or your Account if it believes you have violated this Policy, the General Terms, any law, or any third‑party rights.
- Deactivate Accounts that are dormant for an extended period, created fraudulently, or used in a manner that poses security or operational risks.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. Certain provisions of this Policy and the General Terms (including intellectual property, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive termination.
2. Data Collection, Privacy & Cookies
2.1 Categories of Data Collected

- Communications data: Messages, emails, or support requests you send to JetBlack, and certain metadata related to those communications.

3. Intellectual Property & Use of Site Materials
3.1 Ownership of the Platform and Content
All intellectual property rights in and to the Platform and its content are owned by JetBlack or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, database, and other intellectual property laws worldwide.
This includes, without limitation:
- The Platform’s design, layout, and user interface.
- Text, graphics, images, videos, icons, and audio‑visual elements.
- Software, code, algorithms, and databases supporting the Platform.
- JetBlack names, logos, trade dress, scripts, and service names (the “JetBlack Marks”).
Except for the limited license granted below, no rights in or to the Platform or any content are transferred to you.
3.2 Limited License to Use the Platform
Subject to your compliance with this Policy and the General Terms, JetBlack grants you a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal or internal business purposes related to requesting, booking, and managing transportation services.
You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, publicly display, perform, adapt, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without JetBlack’s prior written consent, except as expressly allowed under applicable law (e.g., fair use).
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices on the Platform or its content.
3.3 Restrictions on Use of JetBlack Marks
The JetBlack Marks (including logos, names, and trade dress) are registered or unregistered trademarks or service marks owned or licensed by JetBlack.
- You may not use the JetBlack Marks in any advertising, marketing materials, domain names, or social media handles without JetBlack’s prior written approval.
- You may not claim any rights in the JetBlack Marks, challenge JetBlack’s ownership, or apply to register any mark that is confusingly similar.
- Any permitted use of the JetBlack Marks (for example, by approved partners or drivers) is subject to a limited, revocable license and must conform to JetBlack’s trademark usage guidelines.
If you create any materials incorporating the JetBlack Marks with JetBlack’s authorization, JetBlack will own all right, title, and interest in such materials, and you hereby assign to JetBlack any rights you may have in them.
3.4 User Content, Feedback & Suggestions
Any information, content, suggestions, or feedback you submit through the Platform (excluding personal data covered by the Privacy Policy) may be treated as non‑confidential and non‑proprietary.
- You grant JetBlack a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license, with the right to sublicense, to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly perform, and display such submissions in any media for any lawful purpose, including improving services and marketing.
- You represent that you own or otherwise control all rights necessary to grant this license and that your submissions do not infringe any third‑party rights.
JetBlack is under no obligation to use any submissions or to provide credit or compensation for them, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.5 Copyright and IP Complaints
JetBlack respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same.
If you believe that any content on the Platform infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you should notify JetBlack at the contact details provided on the website with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work or other IP right claimed to have been infringed.
- A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Platform.
- Your contact information and a statement of good‑faith belief that the use is not authorized.
JetBlack may remove or disable access to alleged infringing material and may take such further action as it deems appropriate in accordance with applicable law.

Integrations with third‑party tools (e.g., payment gateways, analytics platforms, Meta/Facebook tools) are governed by this Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the third parties’ own terms of service and privacy policies.
5. Changes to This Platform, Privacy & IP Policy
JetBlack may revise, update, or otherwise modify this Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technological, or business changes.
- The updated Policy will be posted on the Platform and may be referenced via notices or banners where appropriate.
- Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any updated Policy constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
